splendid Ladakh Tour Itinerary

Day 1: Leh

When you land at Kushok Bakula Rimpochee Airport in Leh, our representative will be waiting for you at the exit gate to provide transportation to your hotel. After breakfast, give yourself the rest of the day off in order to acclimate to the high altitude. Evening stroll through the Leh Bazaar at a leisurely pace.

Day 2: Leh Local Sightseeing

After breakfast, embark on a day trip that will take you to the Hall of Fame, Gurudwara Pathar Sahib, Magnetic Hill, and Sangam View, which is the location where the Indus and Zanskar rivers meet. Visit the Shanti Stupa. Evening at leisure.

Day 3: Leh - Nubra Valley - Hunder

After breakfast, make your way to the Nubra Valley by way of the Khardung La Pass, which is the highest motorable road in the world (18,380 feet). Continue driving through Shyok River and arrive in Hundur by the late afternoon so that you can take part in the Double Hump Camel safari in the evening.

Day 4: Hunder - Turtuk - Hunder

After breakfast, make your way to Turtuk, which is referred to as the “Promised Land” due to its location between two adversarial neighbours. This picturesque village was originally located in Baltistan, Pakistan; however, during the 1971 war, it was taken over by India. It’s a Muslim village, but everyone gets along well here, even the Baltis. After taking in the splendour of Turtuk and its surrounding landscape, you can then make your way back to Hundur.

Day 5: Hunder - Pangong Lake

After breakfast, make your way to Pangong Lake using the breathtaking Shyok route, which only recently reopened. When you reach Pangong, take in the breathtaking scenery of this placid lake located at an elevation of 4,400 metres. This lake, known as Pangong, is over 144 kilometres long and only five or six kilometres wide, and it is shared by two countries (25 percent India and 75 percent China).

Day 6: Pangong Lake - Leh

After breakfast, make your way to Leh while stopping to see the famous Shey Palace, Thiksey Monastery, and 3 Idiots school along the way.

Day 7: Leh

After breakfast, the day is free for your personal activities and shopping. You can also enjoy rafting (arranged on request).

Day 8: Departure

Transfer to the airport in the wee hours of the morning, and then fly back to destination with fond recollections of Ladakh.
